This book is sturdy and has a wonderful message. My grandchildren love it! If you are the one who presents 2 children in a classroom or other setting, most children will really love this book. It seems to force you to Select one age. I would say that having raised children of my own, I would start reading this book by one years old, but the average child I guess would best benefit with between ages like two and four. The book could be read up to people who are like six years old if they just love a sweet bedtime story.
