Clay-Like Texture, All-Day Control
When my go-to pomade was discontinued, I had to start the search all over again. After seeing several ads for Highland Glacial Hair Clay Pomade on social media, I decided to give it a try and ordered a tin.
Right out of the can, you can tell this product is different. Itâs very thickâalmost like actual clay. At first, I wasnât sure how it would work with my shorter hair. Pro tip: lightly wet your hands before working it in. Once you add a little moisture and warm it up between your fingers, it spreads much more easily and evenly. Applying it to damp hair makes styling smooth and straightforward.
When first applied, the hold feels strong and structured. As the day goes on, it relaxes slightly but still keeps your hair in place without looking stiff or overly styled. I appreciate that it maintains shape while allowing a more natural finish as the hours pass.
It is more expensive than some other options out there, but in my opinion, the performance justifies the price. For reference, my hair is shortâslightly longer than a typical military regulation cutâso this review reflects how it performs on shorter styles.
Overall, Iâm happy with the switch and would recommend Highland Glacial Hair Clay Pomade to anyone looking for a strong, workable hold with a natural feel.
