Ich bin normalerweise kein Fan der Nylguts, da mir die Saitenspannung zu hoch ist und die Saiten auch Feinheiten in der Klangformung nicht so gut umsetzen wie z. B. Fluorcarbon Saiten. Bei 8 Saiter Ukulelen allerdings finde ich genau diese hohe Saitenspannung sehr gut, hilft sie doch gegen die leichten Stimmungsunsauberkeiten auf den unisono gestimmten e und a Saiten. I rarely get insurance on flights or trips but when I bought my steam generator, I just thought why not, I use this thing almost every other day.
