This included everything from legal structure, to accounting and taxes. The exercises are relevant and not overwhelming. Great resource for anyone with a writing practice, whether it be international bestseller or those of us building on our hobby.

Great resource for authors

The book offers a variety of helpful tips from running your own business, filing types, inventory, taxes, and more. I will be referencing it again as it has so much information that I need to look back on. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Two issues with the book: 1) Parts of the book sounded like AI. Words like crucial, labyrinth, and the extensive use of bullets left me somewhat suspicious. It’s not a huge deal as it was heavily edited but was noticeable. 2) Formatting of some parts were in all bold which was hard to read. Entire bulleted sections were all bolder instead of just the first sentence. It needed to be updated and I think this was missed. The book is helpful and a good resource despite these two issues. I appreciated the vast amount of information provided which will be beneficial in the future.
