So kann die Winzerfamilie, in der nunmehr neunten Generation stolz auf drei Jahrhunderte Weintradition und unzhlige Auszeichnungen zurckblicken. Erst 1950 wurde die relativ junge Rebsorte Huxelrebe umfangreich in Rheinhessen von Fritz Huxel angepflanzt. Die Rebe gehrt wie Scheurebe, Bacchus und Traminer zu den Bukettrebsorten.
