It does have numerous holes of various sizes, mostly smaller holes, and it is missing its drawstring. These are becoming extremely difficult to find in any condition for less than $60. This would be a great one to either use for reenacting or for display since it is already a little damaged and you wouldn't need to worry about it to much. These

These shelves are rey stylish, light and durable! The set came with everything needed to install. The color is just as described. Price is steal and these shelves can definitely be used anywhere throughout the house. I did give it only 4 stars because as you can see in the photos, the underneath was not completely finished. Decided to keep because the price was unbeatable.
