German Folding Camping StoolOriginal German camping folding stool. This type of stool is quite interesting. I am not sure where the original design came from, but the earliest examples I have seen have been German. It seems like Japan and a few other countries might have copied it after the war, but the original German ones are far more hefty. This could still be used, but the canvas would probably eventually give out.

Fairly stable. Good value for the price

Great set of stands. You have to tighten them pretty snugly to minimize wobble. Given they are metal they’ll have a little bit more give than solid wood. Even so,
a tall desk I built with them remains stable and level.
