The hackamore combi is a jaw piece with leverage and gives pressure on the nose, chin, and mouth. The longer the shanks of the hackamore, the stronger the effect. This combination with short shanks has a less sharp effect than the long hackamore combi. These bits are often used with very enthusiastic horses on the trail. Due to the leverage, this is a fairly sharp bit and therefore notsuitable

Too Tight but It Works
It doesn't really sit on very well to be honest, it tends to sit TOO tight in my opinion. Taking it off can be a hassle but at least it gets the job done, durability is good, finish is great, obviously easy to use.
