We have developed a kit that fits exactly in this space with a fibreboard panel covered in black leathercloth material with double sided tape on the reverse side. This is exactly what I wanted! The quality is definitely there for the price! The back feels textured which is a nice touch and I especially love that it’s a perfect fit. There’s no cutouts that cover any important buttons or sensors and the corners and edges are thicker to protect the remote from drops.
