The recorders were designed by Ralf Ehlert, and are suitable for recorder music from all styles and periods. On account of their strong tone colour and volume they are particularly suitable for playing with piano and other "modern" instruments. They have a wide conical bore, giving them the same strength of sound as renaissance recorders. The windway however is designed after baroque models

Little pricey, but worth it
Very nice product. Creates a clean look on my fiances night stand rather than having everything all over the place. I like the little compartment with the door, its nice for putting things out of sight. The coin compartment is nice as well. The curve of the bottom makes it easy to get the coins out. I do think its a little pricey for what it is, but i still feel it was worth it to organize the clutter.
